In the 1950s, as a young boy I began collecting rocks and minerals.I would send my allowance to Australia to buy Opals. Opals became my favorite.

My early fascination for opals has never left me. I started Rockaway Opals in 2008, as an outlet for my Opal passion.

Recently, At Rockaway Opals, I have introduced Rockaway Works which is an innovative line of jewelry, inspired by my years in Architecture and furniture design. Also featured, are Phoenix Nests.
They provide new life for old earring studs.
